Fabber’s Thumbs Up or Down, Rookie Wide Receivers and Hunger Games!

Every year you hear all of the fantasy analyst out there say, myself included, do not get a rookie wide receiver on your fantasy team. They are trouble, lazy, sloppy, and slow. They have trouble learning the playbook and they flat out suck at blocking. All you ever hear is why you should stay away from them and history showed us it was all true, until now.

Fabber’s Thumbs Up or Down, Rookie Wide Receivers and Hunger Games!

This very moment you have two top 10 fantasy wide receivers that are rookies. There are four of them in the top 25 of all fantasy wide receivers, this is unheard of. This class will challenge any receiving crop in NFL history as the best ever drafted as well as the most immediate impact felt.

Let’s look a little deeper seven have over 40 receptions, 11 have over 400 yards receiving already, and seven have five touchdowns or more this year. Those are some great numbers for a rookie receiving group and we have four to five games remaining.

This group might change the way rookie receivers are valued in fantasy for the here on out.

Thumbs Up

– Mike Evans is on an amazing ride over the last six games he has played he has scored seven touchdowns and piled up 656 yards. That’s very Madden like my friends.

– Staying with the rookie receiver theme Kelvin Benjamin had his second 100 yard game of the season. Also brought in nine receptions.

– Watching Hunger Games with a group of people makes you see people want people to survive, that’s a step in the right direction.

– Lamar Miller bouncing back from injury to look really good. Glad I traded for him.

– Ryan Mallett got his first start as a Houston Texans and he did not disappoint. Got the win and a couple touchdown throws to go with it.

– If I was in Hunger Games I would definitely use the bow and arrow like the elf in Lord of The Rings. Right!!! Straight bad ass like!

– Tomato soup with a grilled cheese on a cold day is like getting the high score for the week in your fantasy league, priceless.

– Jonas Gray scores FOUR touchdowns for the Patriots. Grab him up but be careful starting him this week.

– AJ Green had one series where he gained 82 of the 90 yards the Bengals covered and got the touchdown. That is how it should be in fantasy world!

– Matt Forte is turning out to be worthy of that early draft position. I had him in the top four but as early as first on the draft board. He is currently the third best fantasy running back.

– Staying with the Bears, we can all take a huge sigh of relief that both stud receivers had games this weekend!

– Bears again!!! That move called Bears, what the hell is that? I am going to follow around a possum for a year and make a movie about it. Hope it makes it that long, fingers crossed.

– Is there anyone better than Aaron Rodgers in the game right now for fantasy?!?!?! This guy is sick nasty with a twist, yea that good!

– Le’Veon Bell saw so many running backs clear 100 yards on Sunday that he figured he would clear 200 on Monday night.

– Staying with Bell he will have over 1,000 rushing yards and over 500 receiving yards before week 14. Damn good for a player who was lazy and out of shape.

– As much as I tore apart Josh McCown I got to give him credit since his two starts back he has been solid. I still don’t trust him but I am thinking about it.

– The Cardinals might win a game with me at quarterback. This team is getting the bounces this year, good for them.

– Chris Hogan, A.K.A. 24/7 is making his talents seen in Buffalo, might be worth a stash in deeper formats.

– New England Patriots have battled back from a rough start to be one of the hottest teams in football. That would be in thumbs down section for every other team.

– Antonio Brown has 16 more receptions this year than any other receiver in the NFL. That work load might keep him in the number one spot for all receivers for the remainder of the year.

– Meatball Parms are an amazing treat but what makes one good or not is the sauce and I make the best sauce.

– JJ Watt scores his fourth touchdown of the year in week 11, that’s right he has more chances to score again.

– Dolphins Teal uniforms are sexy. That’s right I said it, deal with it.

Thumbs Down

– Eli Manning’s five interceptions kept the Giants from beating the 49ers. Wonder what kind of contract they will come to with him?!?!?!

– Cam Newton’s season. This is worse than a nightmare!

– RG3, this guy is done and do you ever notice it’s never him. Those guys are never fun to be around, the bus hurts.

– Hunger Games = Everyone Dies. Like seriously, this movie gives us little hope. No rainbows and lollipops in this one kids.

– Mr. Buttfumble himself got his bell rung and looks like he was a Jet again. Philly fans I told you be careful what you ask for, now you got him.

– Ben Tate goes from bad to worse, wonder what crap team will ruin his career even more so.

– Legarrette Blount will have to find another new home, this guy gets more chances than Pac Man Jones. Slow down Blount there are only so many teams in the NFL.

– Martavis Bryant could have had two more touchdowns last night but a couple drops cost all of his owners dream to shatter into a nightmare. Stay focused kid!

– This cold front, I moved south for a reason, not for the cold to follow me. I don’t want icicles hanging from there.

– Andre Ellington hasn’t reached 75 total yards in the last two games. Palmer done for the year and a tough schedule makes me sell this guy now.

– JJ Watt has scored more touchdowns than running backs taken in the first round like McCoy for example.

– Packers might have played great but those uniforms are horrible. Please stop making so great look so ugly!

– Adrian Peterson looks like he is done for the year, I can’t say I disagree.

– The Saints fan that stole the ball from the woman. C’mon man that cray cray! Be a better person bro!

– NFL current players shoplifting because they are out of money. What the hell is going on where you are out of money to get food?!?!?!?!?

– The NFC South. I mean really, do I have to say anything more about that thing that is trying to play itself as a real division in football.

– Colts signing more offensive players when it needs defense!!!

– Knowing we only have a couple months of football left, that makes me cry inside.
