Fabber’s Thumbs Up or Down! Andre Ellington, Movies and More

I always wanted to be a professional movie reviewer. I mean think of it, what an amazing job. Watch movies and say good or bad, simple and fun, the win-win.

Well I have yet to get that opportunity for that but this is just as good. Here is where I will tell you the good and bad every week to get you ready to read my Believe It or Not comes out right here on LWOS.

Let’s not waste any more time and get to it.

Thumbs Up

  • Andre Ellington continues to show he doesn’t need touchdowns to be worthy of a rb spot every week. At least one of my preseason hopefuls is living up to the hype. Thank you Andre 2014, now score some touchdowns already!
  • Lamar Miller is the guy Dolphin fans and fantasy owners were hoping he would be. I like him the rest of the way. That probably means he will have one more good game the way this year is turning out.
  • Stay with the friendly water creature, Ryan Tannehill is a serious fantasy option and is running some read option to keep defenses honest. I love it. Oh, and yes, I am starting him next week in a couple of my 19 leagues.
  • Yes I play way too much fantasy but they say do what you love and I love. The real question is do you?
  • Stop all the debate, I told you a month ago that Jerick McKinnon is the running back to have in Minnesota. He got almost 20 attempts and broke 100 yards. Yes that is what it looks like being the man in a Viking uniform.
  • Carson Palmer played three games so far this season. All three of those games he scored 20 fantasy points or more. Only two other quarterbacks can claim that feat and that Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck. Pretty good company to be with.
  • Russell Wilson stock has gone up with the trade of Percy Harvin. He is a must start till stated otherwise. Also I don’t want the questions like this “Wilson or Luck, start one?”. Yes start one and trade the other. Bench points don’t help win games, get players that do.
  • It was only week 7, the season is far from over.
  • They are making another Dumb and Dumber with the original actors, thank god. We can always us more laughter.
  • Aaron Rodgers is a lot like Aaron Rodgers last four weeks, got to love when that happens.
  • Talk about playing like they should Demaryius Thomas is acting like the wide receiver we thought he would all year. Aren’t you happy now that you bought him low?!?!
  • Brenton Bersin caught his first NFL touchdown Sunday for the Carolina Panthers. He has a great story of how he made the roster and never quitting, check it out. That being said do not pick him up in your league.
  • Back when Dwyer decided he didn’t want to be a free person anymore I told you to pick up Stepfan Taylor and now you know why. He will take all of Ellingtons well earned touchdowns.
  • Golden Tate finaly made due and he should as long as Calvin Johnson is sidelined with the ankle injury that is killing fantasy teams everywhere. Let me vent dang in!
  • Percy won’t is this side but someone will because of that move, Doug Baldwin. I got to find the positive in everything.
  • Antonio Gates, securing fantasy relevance at the same time as securing social security. That has to be impressive for a tight-end.
  • I am not one to promote fast food joints but McDonalds crispy chicken salad is the truth. Trust and try
  • Steelers one-two punch of Bell and Brown can carry your fantasy team to victory like they carry the Steelers to victory. I know they did it for me.
  • The wire will be useful this week, lots of players that can help your team for weeks. You got to play it though for a chance to win it!
  • Boys 2 Men greatest hit album, I cannot get enough.
  • Captain and Crew Fantasy Hour every Sunday live online radio show. Seriously it will help you win 74% of the time. Yea Shameless plug.
  • The Cowboys year so far!!!

Thumbs Down

  • Running backs by committee is killing fantasy football slowly but surely. I remember the good old days when guys got 25-30 carries every week.
  • Zac Stacy, I don’t want to say I told you so but I did.
  • Percy Harvin’s fantasy value as soon as we realized that he was really traded to the Jets. They have a whole burial ground for wide receivers that went there, he will join the crew.
  • Remember when Brett Favre was a Jet, which was cool for a couple weeks.
  • Jimmy Graham getting ZERO points and screwing a lot of fantasy owners over.
  • Kirk Cousin……. You literally could put anything after this and it would be thumbs down.
  • So many first round picks not living up to the pick. Come on already wake up!!!
  • To the fantasy owners that try to nickel and dime every trade talks. Look the trade doesn’t make you look dumb but how you talk about trading makes you look dumb.
  • Oh also to the guys who over value their players like they actually own them. Come on bro!
  • Vikings receivers are still on this list. Yes even one of my man crushes, C Patterson. He isn’t worth the roster spot.
  • Cam Newton and his whole attitude. He doesn’t look engaged in the game to do well consistently.
  • That dumb and dumber movie where they didn’t use the real actors, what a waste of time and money.
  • Panther’s defense or lack thereof.
  • Luke Kuechly getting kicked out for nothing. Next time he should body slam that ref and send a message. Maybe tag the Rock and let him do a people’s elbow on his candy ass. Come on we would all love it.
  • Oakland only team not to win a game yet. Look at their schedule and they could easily not win a game this year. Move over Lions you might have some company.
  • Techno music, seriously if you heard one song you heard them all.
  • Play calling this year has been horrendous for the most part. How many times will we pass the ball on first and goal from the 1 yard line. Really!
  • Matt Ryan and the false hope he gave all of his fantasy owners out there.
  • Drew Brees, Matthew Stafford and Cam Newton not being in the top 12 fantasy QBs going into week 8.
  • The movie Gangster number one, worst movie ever.

See you on Thursday for Believe it or not and of course listen to my radio shows.
