London Wasps Looking Forward to Europe

For the first time in over four seasons, London Wasps are back in the top tier of European rugby. When this happened the club (fans, players and coaches) began to truly believe that they are on their way back to the glory years of what London Wasps Rugby Football Club used to be. This means the relevance of contending for titles and playing against the big names in rugby on an annual basis. Having belief within all areas of the club has helped boost the atmosphere within in Adams Park and it has certainly helped the club gain more supporters/ fans.

With the first European fixture only a couple of weeks away the team and coaching staff will start thinking about what job needs to be done and work out how they are going to beat every team that is in their group. The teams that are in the group are Harlequins, Leinster and Castres Olympique. All of these three teams will be hard task to beat due to the caliber of talent that they have but many analysts believe that it is possible for Wasps to beat them. As Wasps have faced Quins in the English premiership they will know what to expect but without playing Leinster and Castres for a number years it will be a bit more difficult to work how the job will be done.

Having James Haskell as captain at Wasps this season will definitely help the club get to where they need and want to be in Europe. For the history that wasps have had, Hasekell is the only player that is left from the Dallaglio era. With Haskell being from that amazing era (several premiership and European titles) he can use that experience of winning titles to teach the next generation, and to help the spur the Wasps players on to glory.  Haskell leads the club by example, both on and off-the pitch, with his hard work in both training and games.
