Rating JT Barrett’s debut in Buckeyes’ opener

Braxton Miller’s bad shoulder has thrust JT Barrett into the pressure packed role of Ohio State quarterback. The Redshirt Freshmen received little help early on from a rebuilt Offensive Line as the Buckeyes struggled into the fourth quarter vs Navy. Ohio State scored just six points in the first half and trailed 14-13 late in the third quarter as the O-line could spring Barrett and inexperienced running backs Ezekiel Elliott and Curtis Samuels for only 70 yards into the final quarter. Mark Rogers breaks down Barrett’s debut (12 for 15, 226 Pass Yards, 2 TD, INT) and the weapons around him following Ohio State’s 34-17 opening win

Mark Rogers has interviewed big time NCAA coaches Tommy Tuberville, George O’Leary, Troy Calhoun, Sonny Dykes, Blake Anderson, Bill Blankenship, Ron Caragher, Matt Wells, and more on his station.
