Last Word on Memes: Miami Dolphins War Room

The NFL Draft is complicated.  Scouting is difficult.  There are hours of game film to review, there are combine numbers to go over, the Senior Bowl practices to watch, Wonderlic scores, player interviews, and a number of other secret measures that NFL teams go through in order to find the next big thing.

Today we look inside the Miami Dolphins War Room, where they have found a new method to identify their first draft pick.  The Dolphins are apparently asking all prospects to guess the number of jelly beans in the jar and will draft the one with the best guess.

While we haven’t seen any other teams adopting the strategy, there is a good reason for that. Some years it works for Miami, see Ryan Tannehill.  However in other years they have drafted Dion Jordan and Jared Odrick with their first rounder.

Maybe its time to go back to the tried and true methods of film study, and combine test scores.
