Houston Rockets Facing Toughest Test as a Team

What a year it’s been in Houston Rockets. They were able to land Dwight Howard, and expectations rose very quickly for this young Rockets team. So far, they have lived up to the expectations. James Harden and Dwight Howard are continuing to be some of the best players in the league, and Chandler Parsons is showing signs of becoming a star. Now, it’s time for the Rockets to truly show that they are legit. Starting Tuesday, they will be facing their toughest seven-game stretch of the season. This will be a huge test for a very young team.

Here is what the next seven games look like; Heat, Magic, Pacers, Trail Blazers, Thunder, Bulls, and Heat again. The only easy game in there is against Orlando. Besides that, all of these teams are top-tier playoff teams. This series of games is very important for James Harden and Dwight Howard. It is time for them to make sure everyone realizes that they are one of the best duos in the league.

Houston has to make sure they win at least five of these games. Orlando should be an easy win. In my opinion, Oklahoma City is the most important game in this stretch. Houston hasn’t had the best of luck against OKC, and they’re going to have to get past them if they want to win the West. If they’re able to win this one, it would be huge for their mentality. The game against Portland is also very important. Houston has done well against Portland this year, and this could also be a potential playoff match-up. When you play against the Heat, you’re dealing with the champs. You have to bring your A game. And when you play against Indiana and Chicago, you’re going to be in for a long night with those defenses.

With Houston wining 11 of its last 13, I expect them to do well in this stretch. They will most likely go 4-3 or 5-2. This is a very tough test for the Rockets, and I feel they are ready for it.
