Must See: The Sabres OT Goal Went Through Leafs' Skate

Last night the Buffalo Sabres defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 in OT.  It was just the Sabres 6th win of the season (and third that did not involve the shootout).  Two of those three wins have come against their rivals from over the Peace Bridge and down the QEW.

The OT goal was scored by Christian Ehrhoff.  Take a look here at this seeing-eye shot that goes between the boot and blade of Leafs’ defenceman Carl Gunnarsson’s skate, before beating Leafs goalie James Reimer.

The goal came just 38 seconds into OT and extends the Leafs losing streak to 3 games (though they have gotten loser points in their last two).

The Leafs go to Montreal tonight where they will take on the Canadiens in the Bell Centre, in a much anticipated Hockey Night in Canada matchup. The eyes of the nation will be on Coach’s Corner as Don Cherry addresses his future given the new Rogers/TSN tv deal that begins next season.
