Tony's Weekend Premier League Treble

Back again!  Yes, I am still here fighting.  Though I had a rough second week, but let’s stay positive and with that the results will start rolling our way. This week’s fixtures are a bloody minefield, so we’ll have to be brave to get on the winning thread.

The games to avoid with no value in them….

Man Utd will beat Reading, but at 1/6 they are no value;  so you’d be wise to leave this one alone.  Chelsea will prove too strong for a very average West Ham side, so even though this is a London Derby and the Blues are sporting Mata, Hazard, and Ba, there is no value at 2/5 odds. Swansea vs Arsenal is a real tight fixture, which could go either way and a draw is a strong possibility, this is another I have under “no bet”.  Villa vs QPR a real relegation dogfight.  I really love Rangers Loic Remy, but this is, as Simply Red would say,  “too tight to mention”.  So, another no bet from me. Sunderland/Norwich and Stoke/West Brom are both fixtures for braver men than I, so they so fall under “no bet” as I want no part of those games. Spurs will beat Fulham, but are way too short on value, so again, I’ve left that fixture alone.  And now for the so called “easier” ones…..

The Value…. (well I bloody hope so)

This week I have actually gone for three away wins – brave or stupid, we’re gonna find out over the weekend.  Come on, let’s get it on….

1. Everton vs Man City…. Everton are a little erratic right now and I think City will have too much fire power with Carlos Tevez on a hot run of goals.  So at 21-20, that will do me.

2.  Southampton vs Liverpool The Saints have done themselves proud this season, but Brendon Rogers has Liverpool playing some good stuff and the magical Suarez will score giving the Merseysiders the 3 points.  Slightly odds on at 4-5, but worth the bet.

3.  Wigan vs Newcastle – Since the French brigade joined the Toon the results have changed for the better, even though Wigan will be fighting for points to help them survive, I think the 3 points will be going back to Newcastle.  Take the 15-8.

So to recap, City 21-20,Liverpool 4-5 and Newcastle 15-8.  Going for Max 5-point bet, which pays 53.04.  Get on you lucky people!
