Tony’s Weekend Treble; Beat the Odds in the EPL

I have always had the gambling gene in my blood.  Hell, even in the womb I went to the Epsom Bloody Derby!

From an early age I was hooked on “the buzz”, the excitement, the unknown.  It gets the old blood pumping through the veins. I’m by no means a degenerate gambler who spends days locked in my room pouring over every statistic imaginable.  That said, I still enjoy having a look at the odds and trying to get that little edge of value from the dreaded enemy – the bookies.

So starting this week, I will pick “a treble” – 3 selections.  So, let’s get started, shall we?

Firstly, I think Newcastle with their quality signings they got in January will have too much movement for a hard working Southampton.  So at 6/5 I am going for a home win.

My second tip is West Brom at home to Sunderland. Steve Clarke has done an amazing job for West Brom.  His team continues to impress already, safe and lying just below the European spots, they play good football and will be too much for an average Sunderland.  Take the 21-20 on the Brom.

Lastly is a team I have great respect for in the shape of Everton, who in David Moyes they have one of the top managers in the Premiership.  This is my only away win pick, but the blues have a good away record and I just cannot see Norwich being able to cope – so take the 23-20.

To reiterate, my treble is Newcastle 6-5, West Brom 21-20, Everton 23-20, all at Bet Victor – a nice little treble.   Good luck to any punters having a flutter this weekend. Below you will find all my result predictions for this round of English Premiership games.  Reckon you can do better?  Put your selections in the comments and see how we match up.

The Rest:

Fulham-2       Stoke -1

Arsenal-1      Villa-0

Norwich-1     Everton-3

Reading   0     Wigan  0

West Brom 2   Sunderland  1
